IUPAP Young Scientist Prize for the Commission of Particles and Fields (C11)
The Commission on Particles and Fields (C11) of IUPAP solicits nominations of outstanding young experimental or theoretical particle physicists for the two 2010 Young Scientists Prizes.
The prizes, each consisting of an IUPAP medal and a small cash award, will be presented at the 35th International Conference on High Energy Physics, Paris, France on July 21 – 28, 2010.

Yasaman Farzan (Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences, Teheran)
Kai-Feng Chen (National Taiwan University, Taipei)
Candidates for the prize should have a maximum of 8 years of research experience (excluding career interruptions) following the PhD. Previous award recipients will not be eligible for the award.
Nominations for the IUPAP Particles and Fields Young Scientist Prize can be made by experimental or theoretical particle physicists who know the work of the nominee well.
Nomination packages should consist of:
All letters should discuss the nominee's qualifications and scientific achievements in the field of experimental or theoretical particle physics and any significant publications. At least one supporting letter should come from someone who is not at the nominee’s institution and is not a past or present mentor.
Nomination materials should be sent by electronic mail to the C11 Commission Chair before March 26, 2010. ***Deadline extended until the 26th***
